Polar Cubs 2011

Primitive Biathlon February 19, 2011

Black Powder and Snow Shoes! Categories this year include Juniors (17 and under) and Youngsters (18yrs-84yrs).   Also enjoy our late saturday afternoon “Winter Walk”- Stroll this beautiful winter wonderland (with or without snowshoes) and shoot the course without challenging the clock.  Register before January 28th; fee increases after.   Learn more and register.   Contact Ranger Steve by email or call 507-951-3761.

Turkey Ridge Encampment June 3-5, 2011

Camp the Weekend or do a day trip with "pioneers, traders, settlers, and the Native Americans" who bring our history to life.  Enjoy a day where Scouts can encounter, learn, and try many of the crafts and skills of yesteryear.  Boy Scouts can also take these skills and earn badges.  Learn more. The new BeAScout campaign is ready for unit leaders to put their units on the map!  BeAScout helps parents and volunteers locate packs, troops, and crews nearest them and request information about Scouting opportunities in their area.   Webinars are being held for unit leaders.  Learn more.

New Belt Loops, Pins and Merit Badges
