Gamehaven Scout Reservation

Where the Fun Begins!

GSR is located in Olmsted County, just southeast of Rochester, Minnesota.  The reservation is 262 acres of land that is both rugged and hardy. It is the site of Gamehaven Council’s summer camps including Cub Scout Day Camps during summer and winter months, overnight camps for Cub Scouts, Boy Scout Camporees, Council picnics, and leader training events, just to name a few.

GSR is open for year-round use by Cub Scout Packs, Boy Scout Troops, Venturing Crews, Exploring Posts and the public. With a unique supreme program, an experienced, hand-picked staff, and an emphasis on service and satisfaction for those who visit our camp, it's no wonder that GSR camping programs help deliver the promise of Scouting to hundreds of participants each year. We pride ourselves on offering a program for every Scout in each unit, regardless of his age, needs, or goals.

For over 100 years, Scouting programs have instilled in youth the values found in the Scout Oath and Scout Law.  Today these values are just as relevant in helping youth grow to their full potential as they were in 1910.  Scouting helps youth develop academic skills, self-confidence, ethics, leadership skills, and citizenship skills that influence their adult lives.
