Theme, logo for 2021 National Jamboree will invite Scouts to ‘Face the Challenge’

Scouting instills confidence, helping young people discover they can achieve more than they thought possible. That’s the uplifting message behind the logo and theme for the 2021 National Jamboree, which the BSA announced today. Using Scouting’s highest-profile gathering to deliver a distinct thematic message signals a bold new approach for National Jamborees. It ensures that the theme, “Face the Challenge,” will leave a lasting impression on Jamboree participants and our entire movement.

Qualifications for Scouts to attend will be 12 years old and at least 1st Class on July 1, 2021 but not have turned 21 by 8/1/2021.

National Participation fee is $1,175, final fee will be determined by November 1, 2019 once travel and equipment cost are determined. December 1, 2019 a $250 non-refundable deposit will be due with a 15 month payment plan to follow.

For over 100 years, Scouting programs have instilled in youth the values found in the Scout Oath and Scout Law.  Today these values are just as relevant in helping youth grow to their full potential as they were in 1910.  Scouting helps youth develop academic skills, self-confidence, ethics, leadership skills, and citizenship skills that influence their adult lives.
