Welcome by: Chris Cook - College Representative

Guest Speaker: Chris Hahn

We have a number of Classes being offered this year. Please note the class times, any pre-requisites on a class and what you need to bring.

It is important that each Scout knows the requirements before class begins and does them prior to Sept. 28th. If they are asked to bring certain clothing, shoes, goggles,  please make sure they do so. Not having proper gear could prevent them from attending class.

Please check the links below to get more detailed information. Details will be updated as they are received from the Committee.

Current Class Schedule - updated 09.06.2019 - Note First Aid Class will not be part of the class schedule for this Merit Badge Fair.

Class Pre-Requirements - Items needing to be completed prior to class. Please make sure your Scout is aware of the pre-req's. for the class he/she is attending. updated 08.15.2019

LUNCHES- We will have two types of lunch available. The cost will be $8/person. You will have a choice of 2 hot dogs, chips, drink and cookie or a hamburger, chips, drink and cookie. If some of your Scouts or adults plan to bring their own lunch, please enter that as well, so we make sure no one is missed for getting lunch. You can register for your lunches after you register for the classes on Tentaroo. That way each leader can focus on getting classes entered when registration opens.

ONLINE REGISTRATION - Registration will open at 5:30am on Tuesday, September 17th. Registration will close officially on Monday, September 23rd.

We are asking all Scoutmasters to register their Scouts on Tentaroo site again this year. Each unit has their own user name and password. If you don't know what it is please do not create a new one, but call the Gamehaven Council office to get it. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU TAKE THE TIME NOW TO LOOK AT EACH SCOUT IN TENTAROO AND MAKE SURE ALL INFORMATION IS CORRECT. This includes birth dates and current rank earned. Updating Scouts and adults in your Troop can be done now, so that the day of registration you can easily focus on getting classes for your Scouts. Payment for classes and lunches will need to be paid no later than Monday, Sept. 23rd.

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT REGISTRATION OR DIFFICULTY IN SIGNING ON  YOU CAN CALL THE OFFICE at 507-287-1410.

TRAINING INFO

For over 100 years, Scouting programs have instilled in youth the values found in the Scout Oath and Scout Law.  Today these values are just as relevant in helping youth grow to their full potential as they were in 1910.  Scouting helps youth develop academic skills, self-confidence, ethics, leadership skills, and citizenship skills that influence their adult lives.
